Amplifi grows NZ investment team with two new hires

Amplifi New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Bittle to the role of Senior Implementation Manager, and Meg Thomason as Implementation Executive.

The appointments will help to build out Amplifi’s trading and investment capability to support the Dentsu Aegis Network’s rapid growth, centralising systems and processes to continue to maximise buying efficiency and effectiveness for clients of the Group.

Andrew joins from OMD, where as Analytics Manager he developed experience evaluating performance, formulating buying strategies and helping to develop media partnerships.  Andrew will build upon his experience to provide key business insights and trading recommendations for the Dentsu Aegis Network in New Zealand.

Meg brings extensive media buying experience, joining from Spark PHD and Blackfoot, where she covered all media channels for clients such as Unilever, Bridgestone and Kitchen Things.  Meg will partner with the Vizeum brand to activate their media campaigns.

Since launching in New Zealand in January, Amplifi has grown significantly this year under the leadership of Richard Pook as Head of Amplifi New Zealand.

Speaking of the appointments Richard said, “Meg and Andrew are rising stars and a welcome addition to our fast-growing Amplifi NZ team. They will play a big part in building out our Group’s  trading capabilities and in realising our mission to create innovative solutions with our media partners for the benefit of our clients”

Andrew Bittle said, “Coming from a background of in-depth media and cross-media analysis, it’s incredibly exciting to join a team that is so progressive, with the vision to look beyond established performance metrics, to deliver optimal results for our clients.”

Meg Thomason said, “I am really happy to join Amplifi, becoming part of such a supportive, savvy team. I am looking forward to seeing and contributing to the brand’s growth, as well as engaging more with the Dentsu Aegis community.”
